Description

Area/Country of Origin: Caribbean

Alcoholic Strength: 40%

Content: 700ml

Variety: Distilled light molasses

Tasting Notes:

After fermentation of molasses, a distillation in column and alembic returns is done before  the rum is aged for 7 years in American oak barrels. This is compared to some well-known brands that are aged in oak barrels for six months. Chairman's Reserve Rum has the characteristic profile of an English type of rum.

St. Lucia Chairman's Reserve won a gold medal as Best in its class at the International Wine and Spirits Competition, as well as a double gold medal at the World Spirits Competition in San Francisco in 2008.

Nose: Dominant fresh fruit (pineapple and mango), with vanilla, honey and a little oak.

Mouth: Astonishing elegance and finesse, smooth and beautiful. It is a much more pleasing rum compared to others from the same distillery - mixing vanilla, exotic fruits and sweet spices with great harmony.

Palate: The length extends over very smoothly -  its seduction isn't shallow and superficial, as it provides a wonderful talent of allowing the ingredients to mix together, beautifully.
