Les sens du fruit - Château Le Jonc Blanc  Vin de France

Country of Origin: France

Les sens du fruit - Château Le Jonc Blanc 's Franck Pascal pulled out of the Bergerac appellation in 2012, as his rich, natural, unfined and unfiltered wine had little in common with most of the wines from this appellation. His wine spends two winters in the cellars for natural stabilisation before bottling.

Content: 750ml

Alcohol: 13.5%

Tasting Note:

Black and red fruit gradually emerge on the nose, with deep structured fruit on the palate that is held firm by the wine’s chalky minerality. This is backed by delicate tannins. The finish is long and the overall impression is one of freshness.

Grape: 50% Cabernet sauvignon – 40% Merlot – 10% Malbec on 3309 Couderc rootstock. 25 year old vines. 5000 vines per hectare on average. Vines are trained in Cordon de Royat.

Store at temperature between 16 and 18 degrees.

Best served with grilled red meat - would benefit from a little decanting.
